Valley HealthCare System is hiring for a Program Manager for Crisis Residential Services.

NATURE OF WORK: Program Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of all crisis services provided by Crisis Intervention Specialists, such as, but not limited to: Crisis Walk-ins during regular business hours, 24-hour call lines, facilitating Mental Hygiene Proceedings, Initial Screening Calls, initial referrals for intake evaluations, Disaster Response and Debriefing services. As such, this position oversees the provisions of emergency services both during traditional and non-traditional business hours. Program Manager will also be responsible for providing direction and oversight in the provisions of services delivered on the Crisis Residential Unit. Will be responsible for the daily (24/7) operation of the Unit and will work with the Medical Director of Crisis Residential Unit, as well as other medical providers, in approving admissions and referrals to the Unit. Will also oversee the clinical practice of supportive individual/group counseling, assessments, treatment plans, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below

BA/BS degree in a Human Services Field

One-year previous professional supervisory experience

Knowledge of Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Services

Working knowledge of Involuntary Commitment process laws within the state of West Virginia

Ability to comply with Client’s Rights

Ability to comply with Valley’s and Division departmental safety procedures

Ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MA/MS degree in a Human Services Field

Experience working in the Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder field

Greater than one year of supervisory experience
