We are pleased to announce our fourth Mini-Workshop of the year! The goal of the mini-workshop series is to bring together students, practitioners, and faculty from various health professions to discuss specific issues relevant to rural integrated behavioral health practice.
This workshop is scheduled for Friday, April 1st, from 11:00 am-12:30 pm. The session, entitled Gender and Trauma – What providers should know when working with people of various sexual orientations and gender identities, will be presented by Ellen Rodrigues, Ph.D, Director of the LGBTQ+ Center for West Virginia University. See the attached flyer for further details about the content of the workshop. Please join us if you are able and pass along to others who might be interested. 1.5 Continuing Education Credits will be offered for licensed social workers in WV.
