Seniors in the School of Social Work are wrapping up collaborations with multiple community agencies focused on areas of social work practice, including safe sex education, necessities for all, trauma-informed care in school and many others.

One group was able to complete their project through the Think Kids Supporting School Wellness Project. Students in this group disseminated surveys to more than 50 counties throughout West Virginia to learn about research and services that schools offer to support their students.

Information gathered through these surveys provided the Think Kids Trauma-Informed Schools Project with a variety of data that the organization can use to assist schools with providing trauma-informed care in schools.
